I was in Total Wine not long ago looking around for inspiration. There’s always something new to try, and that day was no exception!

A new distillery in West Palm Beach was offering samples of their products. I’ve never been a straight vodka fan, but I was pleasantly surprised by their flavored vodka!

Immediately my mind started racing with different drinks and desserts I could create with it. I came home with a bottle, and this is the first thing I came up with!

I was so happy with how this drink turned out! It’s sweet without being too sweet, chocolate-y, and seriously addicting.

I wish I was kidding when I said this drink is so good it’ll make you want to grab… s’more!

How to make a chocolate s’mores martini

This martini is pretty simple to make! Make sure to gather your ingredients. Thankfully, there’s only a few but it’s always good to have everything ready to go!

Now, start by melting some chocolate chips and crushing up a graham cracker. Dip the rim of your martini glass in the melted chocolate and then into the graham cracker crumbs. Next, in a cocktail shaker (or whatever you have), combine the vodka and the chocolate liqueur. If you want your martini cold, add a bit of ice. Shake for a few seconds and strain into the martini glass. Thread your marshmallows onto a skewer and brown with a kitchen torch (or over a gas burner). Lay across the top of the martini and serve!

Expert tips

  • Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler. It doesn’t have to be fancy. Just a bowl sitting over a pot of simmering water.
  • Don’t get water in the chocolate! It will seize.
  • If you want your martini chilled, add the vodka and chocolate liqueur to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well for a few seconds. Strain into martini glass.
  • Use a kitchen torch to toast the marshmallows.
  • It’s best to do several marshmallows at a time. If you toast single marshmallows, they hollow out and fall off the skewer.
