Homemade Cheesy Breadsticks
Switching up the average weeknight appetizer with these Homemade Cheesy Breadsticks. These delicious breadsticks are actually just a few super simple ingredients that come together very quickly! Fresh pizza dough topped with all your favorite kinds of cheeses, oven-baked, then sliced and served with delicious dipping sauces. Add some fresh herbs and or even just a little extra cheese to add some finishing touches. Trust me, this is so much better than take-out or delivery! And technically, these cheesy breadsticks are actually healthier than ordering out… plus, they really are just so much tastier. Cheesy, not too greasy, full of flavor, and the best appetizer or side for so many meals! Serve right before dinner, with dinner, as a quick snack, or with Homemade Basil Pesto and Homemade Tomato Sauce.
About The Recipe
If living in the mountains has taught us anything, it’s that delivery doesn’t deliver to 4,000 feet up on top of a mountain. Which…kinda sucks when you’re craving delivery.
So, out of pure necessity (and craving!), we discovered a really simple and delicious way to get the same great taste without having to deal with leaving the house to go somewhere.
And, trust me. These cheesy breadsticks have been a total savior for us! In need of a quick snack? Breadsticks. Too hungry to wait for dinner? Breadsticks.
Seriously, they are perfect for everything!
Oh, and when you serve them with multiple dipping sauces..?
Literally roll your eyes back good.
I highly recommend basil pesto and tomato sauce, but it’s really all about personal preference! Just enjoy these at your next family gathering or just for a fun weeknight appetizer.
