Equipment Needed:
- Mixing bowls
- Chocolate Bar Mold
Ingredients
- Chocolate Chips
- Graham Crackers
- Mini Marshmallows
Instructions
Now, there's two ways you can melt your chocolate. In the microwave or in a bowl over a small pot of boiling water. That technique is called a bain marie. It's our preferred method for melting chocolate but use whatever is easiest for you!
Once the chocolate is melted, break up some graham crackers into small chunks and chop up the marshmallows.
Now, you can do this chocolate bar one of two ways. You can mix all the graham crackers and marshmallows into the chocolate, or you can take the melted chocolate and place into the molds, sprinkling the graham crackers and marshmallows on top. Your choice! Both are absolutely delicious.
If you chose to mix the graham crackers and marshmallows, go on and add them into the chocolate and mix it up!
Add the chocolate to the mold. Make sure it's as level as possible! If you decided to not do the mix-in option, go ahead and sprinkle the chocolate with graham crackers and marshmallows.
Also, little tip, press your marshmallows and graham crackers into the chocolate to ensure they stay!
Once that's done, place the chocolate bars into the freezer for about 5-10 minutes, or until hardened. Take them out and turn them out of the molds.
You can wrap them and save them for later, or you can enjoy one now. Whatever you choose is definitely the right decision.
Expert Tips
- You can use whatever chocolate you like! For this recipe, we chose semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- If you're doing the exposed method for the bar, I like to toast the marshmallows a little. You can use a lighter to get direct head. This will melt the chocolate bar slightly so only do this if you're about to eat.
- The mixed-in version is definitely the best way to get the most amount of graham crackers and marshmallows into the bar.
