Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

This Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is the perfect treat for any occasion! Chocolate-y, sweet, and SO. GOOD.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • cup salted butter, room temperature
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spread flour on rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  • With an electric mixer, beat butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
  • Stir in flour.
  • Beat in milk and vanilla.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.

Notes

  • Don't have a mixer? No problem! You can make this recipe using melted butter. Combine the ingredients in a large bowl and mix by hand. The only thing is that this method makes the cookie dough greasy. You'll need to wait for the butter to solidify before you can enjoy it.
  • This recipe can be made vegan if vegan butter, non-dairy milk, and vegan chocolate are used.
  • The cookie dough stores well!
