Substitutions:
To make this recipe vegan, omit the pepperoni (or use vegan pepperoni!) and use your favorite vegan cheeses.
We used a full fat mozzarella cheese, but you can use skim or pre-grated mozzarella.
You can really add anything you like to this bread. Just make sure to not add too much, as it will not bake properly with too many fillings/toppings.
You can use store-bought pesto and store-bought pizza dough.
Expert Tips:
Do not add too many toppings to this.
You will need to hold onto the toppings when placing them into the lined loaf pan.
This loaf tastes GREAT dipped in our Homemade Tomato Sauce .
Stores and reheats well.
