Notes
Substitutions:
Homemade or store-bought ice cream can be used for this recipe.
Half and half can be used instead of whole milk for a richer flavor.
If desired, you can use your favorite non-dairy milk and non-dairy vanilla ice cream! I personally love this recipe with oat milk and a coconut milk ice cream.
Expert Tips:
Set the ice cream out a few minutes before you’re ready to make this milkshake! It makes it easier to scoop and measure.
Depending on how soft your ice cream is and what type of milk you use, you may need ½ cup - ¾ cup of milk.
This recipe is best enjoyed as soon as it’s made.
The Chantilly Cream and additional cereal on top are both optional, but highly recommended!!
