Spray a 4 inch x 8 inch loaf pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Stir in beer.
Place dough into prepared pan.
Pour melted butter over top.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until done.
Let cool in pan before turning out.

To make this bread vegan, use your favorite salted plant-based butter.
