Easy Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Everyone needs a chocolate buttercream frosting recipe! This is silky smooth, super chocolate-y, and perfect for spreading and piping.

Ingredients

  • 6 Tablespoons salted butter room temperature
  • 2 cups powdered sugar sifted
  • ½ cup cocoa sifted
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Combine powdered sugar and cocoa. Set aside.
  • Cream butter.
  • Add cocoa mixture, alternately with milk, beating until smooth.
  • Stir in vanilla.
