Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup apple blackberry baby food
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Spray a bundt pan with baking spray. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and cloves. Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine vegetable oil, eggs, baby food, and vanilla.
  • Beat until combined.
  • Pour over dry ingredients.
  • Whisk together.
  • Pour into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until done.

Notes

  • Check the expiration date on your spices! If they're out of date, they may taste stale and not give this cake the flavor it needs.
  • Use room temperature eggs to help incorporate them easier.
  • The cake needs to be completely cooled before turning it out of the pan. Any sooner may result the cake sticking to the pan.
  • Keep this cake in the fridge after baking.
