Fruity, smooth, extra boozy, and SO delicious. This Frozen Mango Margarita is the perfect compliment to all the summer days ahead.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen mango chunks
  • ¼ ounce [sour mix]
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 2 ounces orange liqueur

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients into a blender.
  • Blend on high for 2-3 minutes, or until completely smooth.
  • Pour into a glass and serve.

Notes

Substitutions
  • You can either use fresh mango chunks that have been frozen or store-bought frozen mango chunks. You could also use chopped fresh mango and ice, if you don't have frozen. This way won't be as good, but it is an option.
  • If you like a less boozy drink, cut the tequila and orange liqueur back to 1 ounce each.
Expert Tips
  • Use a high quality tequila and orange liqueur for a better, sweeter flavor.
  • Homemade sour mix is always the way to go!
  • This recipe makes a fairly large drink. Feel free to split it in half.
  • Depending on your mango, you may need to add a sweetener.
  • This recipe tastes really good and fresh with mint added or with a mint and sugar rim!
