Easy Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi
Easy, delicious, and quick to make! This Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi is packed with garlicky, buttery flavor that will have you coming back for seconds. SO. GOOD.
- 4 Tablespoons salted butter
- ⅓ cup chopped green onions
- ¾ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 ½ pounds shrimp
- 1 Tablespoon crushed garlic
- ¾ cup white wine
- 12 ounces bucatini
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Cook pasta, drain, and set aside.
In a large skillet or wok over medium heat, melt butter.
Add green onions and red pepper flakes.
Cook and stir for about 1 minute.
Add shrimp and garlic.
Season with salt and pepper.
When shrimp are nearly cooked, about 3-4 minutes, stir in wine.
Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Add pasta to pan with shrimp.
Toss to coat.
Taste for seasoning and re-season, if necessary.
