How to Roast Peppers

The easiest way to roast peppers! This is a great way to add spice, heat, and an incredible depth of flavor to so many dishes.

Ingredients

  • Peppers number and type are up to you

Instructions

  • Turn oven on broil and preheat.
  • Wash and dry peppers and place on sheet pan.
  • Place pan under broiler.
  • When peppers start to brown, flip them.
  • Continue to flip as they brown.
  • When peppers are brown all the way around, remove from oven and cool.
  • When cool, peel, core, and seed peppers.

Notes

  • Make sure the peppers are fresh with no mold or bug eaten holes.
  • Peel the skin and take out the core after you finish roasting!
  • You can use any peppers you like.
  • You can also freeze or refrigerate these until you need them!
  • Be careful with the heat of peppers. You might want to wear gloves when peeling, coring, or chopping.
