Pulse the pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, and salt. Set aside.

Chop apple pie filling until it's in small pieces. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.

In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat butter and sugars until fluffy, 3-5 minutes.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Stir in vanilla.

Add half of flour mixture. Stir to combine.

Mix in sour cream.

Add rest of flour mixture. Stir to combine.

Spread half of batter evenly in prepared pan.
