Apple Pie Crumble Bars

Super simple Apple Pie Crumble Bars. These bars are seriously apple-filled, extra jammy, cinnamon-y, and oh so delicious. They are definitely a necessary bake this Fall! The base is only a simple oatmeal and butter crumble dough that has been sweetened with brown sugar.

01 Keep the layers thin!

02 Use the bottom of a measuring cup to press the base down.

03 Remember to preheat your oven!

04 You can use store-bought or homemade apple pie filling.

In the bowl of a food processor, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pulse to combine.


Add butter slices, a few at a time, pulsing after each addition.


Place 2/3 of mixture into prepared pan, and press evenly in bottom.


Bake for 15 minutes, or until just starting to brown.


Remove from oven and top with apple pie filling and remaining crumble mixture.


Return to oven and bake 40 minutes, until lightly browned.
