Better Than Store-Bought Iced Oatmeal Cookies! An extra large, thick, chewy, and subtly spiced oatmeal cookie, topped with a sweet vanilla icing. Truly the perfect cookie!

Unsalted Butter Brown Sugar Large Eggs Vanilla Extract All-Purpose Flour Ground Cinnamon Baking Powder Baking Soda Salt Rolled Oats Powdered Sugar Whole Milk


Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Beat in egg, egg yolk, and vanilla.


Add flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix only to blend. Stir in oatmeal.


Portion dough onto prepared pans. Flatten slightly. Bake for 14 minutes, or until golden brown.


Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Dip tops of each cookie into icing.
