All-Purpose Flour Salt Baking Soda Baking Powder Pumpkin Pie Spice Cocoa Powder Unsalted Butter Sugar Buttermilk Eggs Vanilla Butter Powdered Sugar Chai Spice Heavy Cream
Whisk dry ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, and cocoa powder.
Beat butter and sugar
In bowl of electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk, stirring after each addition. Do not over-mix!
Stir in vanilla.
Evenly divide batter into pans and bake at 350 for about 30-35 minutes, or until done.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat butter until fluffy. About 3 minutes.
Add powdered sugar 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in chai spice and vanilla.
Place the bottom cake layer on a cake board and spoon about 1/2 cup frosting onto it. Place the next layer on top. Repeat the steps until no more cake layers remain
