Notes

  1. Make Ahead & Freezing Instructions: This cheesecake can be made up to 2 days in advance. Store covered in the fridge until you're ready to serve. You can also freeze the baked, cooled, and chilled cheesecake. Remember to thaw overnight in the refrigerator before serving. Note that the streusel topping may become very soft after freezing and thawing!
  2. A Note On Apples: For an extra depth of flavor, it’s best to  use a mix of sweet and tart apples. We love to mix Honeycrisp apples and Granny Smith apples.
  3. Room Temperature Ingredients: Bring all cold ingredients to room temperature (70℉/21℃). before getting started making this recipe. Room temperature ingredients will combine better, more quickly, and more evenly!
  4. A Few Things To Keep In Mind: 2 cups graham cracker crumbs = 16 whole graham crackers. | To substitute salted butter for the unsalted in the crust, omit the salt.
