Notes

Substitutions:
  • Angel Food Cake and Vanilla Pound Cake can be used instead of ladyfinger cookies.
  • Any fresh fruit/berry can be used in this trifle.
  • If desired, store-bought whipped cream can be used.
Expert Tips:
  • Want to add a little kick to this trifle? Lightly soak the ladyfingers in a mixture of amaretto and cream!
  • For the best flavor, try to use the sweetest berries possible! While it's more expensive, we found that organic berries tend to be much sweeter.
  • The heavy cream needs to be cold to whip properly!
  • Keep the sides as clean/neat as you can to have gorgeous and distinct layers.
