Classic Vanilla Pound Cake with Chantilly Cream and Berries

Sweet, moist, and absolutely delicious! This Classic Vanilla Pound Cake with Chantilly Cream and Berries is definitely one of the easiest and best cakes there is.
Cake 1 cup butter room temperature 1 cup sugar 4 large eggs room temperature 1⅔ cups all purpose flour 1¾ teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon salt 1 cup milk room temperature ½ teaspoon vanilla Chantilly Cream 1 cup heavy cream cold 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 Tablespoons powdered sugar To Finish berries washed and sliced
Cake Heat oven to 350 °F .
Spray 2 7-inch loaf pans with baking spray. Set aside.
Whisk together flour, baking, powder, and salt. Set aside.
With an electric mixer, cream butter.
Add sugar while continuing to beat.
Beat until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flour mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Stir in vanilla.
Divide batter evenly between prepared pan.
Bake for 35 minutes, or until cake tests done.
For the chantilly cream: Combine cream, vanilla, and powdered sugar in a mixer.
Beat with the whisk attachment for 2-3 minutes, or until medium peaks form
If you are making a large loaf, make sure you lower the temperature of the oven to 325 and increase bake time.
If you do smaller loaves, each pan should have about 1 pound of batter.
Don't over mix the batter!
Make sure to use a cake tester to make sure your cake is really done.
For best results, lightly grease the cake pans and dust with flour.
