This Basic Rosemary, Garlic, and Chili Turkey Brine is super simple to make with only six ingredients, but full of flavor. The perfect brine for Thanksgiving!
5 quarts water ½ cup kosher salt ⅛ cup peppercorns 7 small dried red chilis 6 cloves garlic, crushed 4 sprigs rosemary
To easily peel your garlic, place it in a jar with a lid and shake it. This trick is faster and genuinely a lot of fun!
Make sure you use kosher salt for your brine.
Always put your turkey in a cold brine!
This recipe is enough for a turkey breast. If you are brining an entire turkey, you will need to double or triple the ingredients.
