About The Recipe
Okay, I'm gonna be honest. I'm always looking for something different to drink, something healthier than just another soda (or a large mug of hot cocoa)! My issue always seem to be that when I buy something... It doesn't taste good.
I have personally tried so many "green juice"'s in the last few years. All of them having different combinations. Some are much too bitter, some way too sweet, some are plain flat too... green.
And, at this point, it's kinda getting tiring. I just want something with a lot of flavor, not too sweet, and is good for me. You know?
So, I dug around in my refrigerator and found a few things that needed to be used up anyways.
It turns out that I somehow managed to create exactly what I was looking for on the first try! I was super happy with the outcome.
But, I wanted to make sure I wasn't being biased. So, I walked around my house and let my family take a sip. I didn't tell them what was in it because I wanted an honest opinion.
It was love at first sip! It was a winner with my whole family. I actually had to make a few more drinks just so they could have one of their own.
So, be sure to mix up some extra if you have family over! This drink makes for a great sipper while being super healthy.

Substitutions
- You can use Honeycrisp apples instead of Fuji.
- I barely use sweetener, but if you do, feel free to use honey or agave instead of simple syrup.
- If you don't have baby cucumbers, use ¼-1/2 of a normal sized cucumber.
Expert Tips
- If your ingredients (I.E. the apples) aren't sweet, you will need sweetener.
- You can freeze this drink to make a slush!
- To ensure you get all the juice possible, when straining, push the pulp against the sieve with a spoon or your fingers until it becomes a thick paste in the sieve. Dump it out and repeat until all the juice is strained.
