About The Recipe

One of the many things that I love about winter is that pomegranate’s are in season! They have been my favorite fruit since I was a kid. Sure, they’re really messy…but the flavor was always so worth it!

And when the holiday’s came around, we knew we needed a great tasting drink that involved pomegranate…because why not?

We stumbled upon some pomegranate liqueur and instantly fell in love!

It took a little tweaking to get this drink perfect. We tried a few times, but each time it just wasn’t what we were looking for. We figured out quickly that the lime was making this drink bitter.

So, we switched out a twist of lime for a splash of simple syrup.

It made all the difference!

Another thing we noticed was that, depending on the type of ginger beer, strongly changed how this drink tasted. So, be sure to use a ginger beer you actually like! We found using one that was sweet and strong on the ginger flavor was the best route to go
