Fresh Strawberry Bread

Our favorite Fresh Strawberry Bread with Strawberry Icing. It's just like the classic loaf you know and love, but even BETTER! Made in only two bowls, uses fresh strawberries, quick to make (takes less than 10 minutes to mix up!), and tastes SO GOOD.

01 You can use frozen strawberries.

02 Remember to preheat your oven.

03 Let the cake cool before icing.

04 Be careful to not over-mix the batter.

05 Make sure the strawberries are thoroughly coated in flour.

06 Check the expiration dates on your baking soda and powder.

In a medium bowl, toss strawberries with 2 Tablespoons flour. Set aside.


Whisk together 2 cups flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Fold in strawberries.


Spoon into prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes. Cover with foil. Continue baking for an additional 35 minutes.


Allow to cool to touchable temperature in pan, about 25-30 minutes. Turn out onto cooling rack.


Whisk powdered sugar, strawberry powder, milk, and vanilla until smooth.


Spread onto cooled bread.
