Happy Thursday! And it is a very happy Thursday because it is officially the start to a long weekend because it’s New Year’s Eve, followed by, of course, New Year’s Day! There is no better time of year, especially with the year we’ve had. There’s just something about that time between Christmas and New Years where everything just feels so right. Christmas and come and gone, but the festive feel is still in the air. People are just all around…happier.

And, with the year of 2020, I think we could all do with a bit more happier. In fact, we’ve actually been able to keep more in touch with our family this year than we have ever have before. It’s been so much fun just having family around and taking a few days off to chill and play with some presents.

It’s just a slower time. Emphasis on slow. But it’s nice. Sometimes, working for yourself, it’s hard to take things slow. That’s definitely one of my resolutions for 2021. Slowing down.

This post is a good step towards that.

So, before I go jumping into all the recipes, I wanted to say thank you. You all have made it our most successful year yet. True, we’ve only been doing this about two years, but nonetheless. It was amazing to see how quickly you all came to my mom and me for recipes when things looked it’s worst. From comfort food and fun bakes, we managed to get it all through together. You shared, you created, you loved, and commented a whole bunch! We could not be more thankful to have such an amazing group of people reading and enjoying our recipes. There have never been so many Bakers Table recipes made before! It’s been a lot of cocktail mixing, sourdough baking, pizza throwing, and holiday baking.

It’s been so incredible to see and we are extra thankful for all of you. We couldn’t love our little Bakers Table family more!

And with that, I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday break. Let’s get on with the recipes, shall we?
