Watermelon Lime Jalapeno Margarita

Dreaming that it’s still summer with our favorite Watermelon Lime Jalapeño Margarita. Fresh watermelon juice and tequila mixed with fresh squeezed lime juice, sweet simple syrup, and finished off with some jalapeño slices to give it a slight kick. It’s a touch of sweet, a little bit spicy, and so refreshing too! It is the perfect for spring, summer, and really just all the days ahead! Finish this delicious cocktail off with a salt lime rimmed glass for a delicious Mexican inspired drink. This Margarita is super easy to mix up, uses minimal ingredients, and is so good! The perfect to drink to celebrate warm days or when you have friends and family over.

About The Recipe

The inspiration behind this drink was definitely summer! One of my favorite things about summer is fresh watermelon. I have been known to eat half of a small watermelon all by myself with a spoon.

Regrets? None.

This drink is the perfect tribute to summer because it’s made with fresh watermelon juice!

Oh, and it’s also a tribute to childhood. The added lime juice and jalapeño make this delicious drink taste just like a watermelon jolly rancher!

It’s seriously so good and refreshing.

Ingredients

watermelon slices, lime, jalapeno slices, tequila, simple syrup

Instructions

Place chopped watermelon in a blender. Blend on high until smooth. Strain with a fine meshed sieve into a measuring cup.

In a cocktail shaker, combine watermelon juice, lime juice, simple syrup, tequila, and jalapeño slices. Shake for 30 seconds. Set aside.

Strain margarita over ice and serve!

  • You can adjust the amount of the simple syrup, tequila, and lime juice to your taste!
  • I love to serve these margaritas with extra jalapeños slices, a wedge of watermelon, and a slice of lime!
  • This recipe doesn’t store well so, make sure you drink it the day you make it!

Watermelon Lime Jalapeño Margarita

Spicy, sweet, summery, and SO good! These Watermelon Jalapeño Margaritas are the perfect drink to serve all summer long.

Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients
 

  • 3 cups cubed watermelon
  • 4 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 4 ounces simple syrup
  • 4 ½ ounces silver tequila
  • 1 fresh jalapeno,, sliced

Instructions
 

  • Rim glasses with simple syrup and coarse salt. Set aside.
  • Juice watermelon.
  • Combine watermelon juice, lime juice, simple syrup, tequila, and 9 slices jalapeño.
  • Mix well.
  • Pour into prepared glasses.
  • Garnish with lime slices, jalapeño slices, and a watermelon wedge.
