Valentine’s Day Peanut Butter Heart Cookies

These Peanut Butter Chocolate Heart Cookies are the perfect blend of sweet and salty! Soft, chewy peanut butter cookies with a rich, chocolatey heart in the center—perfect for Valentine’s Day or any time you need just a little extra love in cookie form. Easy to make, irresistibly delicious, and sure to be a crowd favorite!

Total Time: 35 minutes
Servings: 16 cookies

Ingredients
 

  • 6 Tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
  • cup granulated sugar
  • cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup smooth peanut butter
  • 2 Tablespoons whole milk
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/16 teaspoon baking soda
  • teaspoon salt
  • cup granulated sugar, for rolling
  • 16 heart-shaped chocolates

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 350℉/177℃.
  • Line sheet pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • With an electric mixer, beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add peanut butter, milk, and vanilla.
  • Beat until well combined.
  • Mix in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Use a 1½ Tablespoon scoop to portion dough.
  • Roll each ball of dough in extra ⅓ cup granulated sugar.
  • Place on prepared pan.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Take cookies out of oven and immediately press a chocolate heart into the center of each cookie.
