Thanksgiving 2022 Menu
It’s our first Thanksgiving menu and we are so excited! This year, since it’s our first time sharing a menu on the blog, we thought it would be fun to share our classic menu. What we love to make EVERY year without fail! These are tried and true recipes that friends and family ask for the recipes every year. We’ve got classics that you’ll remember from your own table, but we’ve tossed in a few fun recipes, too! From dinner rolls, to cocktails, indulgent sides, and so much more.
Thanksgiving is one of our favorite times of year. I mean, it’s a holiday all about FOOD! Okay, it’s much more than that, but there’s nothing better than getting in the kitchen with friends and family to cook a delicious meal.
And, with today being November 1st, that officially means the countdown to turkey day has started!
This year, we thought it would be fun to share our traditional Thanksgiving menu with all of you. When we have a lot of friends and family in town, these are the tried and true recipes that are our go-to! Even when it’s just me, my mom, and my brother for Thanksgiving, we always make at least a COUPLE of these recipes.
The best part? So many of these recipes can be made AHEAD of time! Which means, you’ll have a little bit more time once Thanksgiving gets here.
So, without further adieu, let’s get into it! Be sure to let us know in the comments below if you make any recipes you find here or on our blog this year. We can help by answering questions or giving tips, if needed! We’re always happy to help!
Our 2022 Thanksgiving Menu
– Breakfast –
Every day needs to start off with a good breakfast, even Thanksgiving! I know a lot of people tend to skip breakfast, as they know a big meal is ahead of them that night, but it IS a long wait. It’s always good to serve something sweet that the whole family will enjoy (and won’t last too long!😉).
Looking for something without nuts or maybe something faster? Try our Pumpkin French Toast!
– Appetizers –
Good appetizers are a must-have! Especially when your family/friends are arriving. Serve a few of these as a snack before dinner is ready, especially if you have a large crowd!
Mushroom Duexelle and Goat Cheese Turnovers
*Tip! Use store-bought puff pastry to make this recipe quick!
*Tip! This is a great snack to have out right before your guests arrive!
Puff Pastry Wrapped Baked Brie with Mushrooms Rosemary and Garlic
*Tip! Serve this with your favorite savory crackers or toasted slices of sourdough bread.
– Main Course –
The star of the show! This is a recipe we’ve been making for over 20 years and it just gets better every single year. Though, it’s always good to serve a hearty vegetarian that can easily be made vegan, if needed, like our Zucchini Lasagna!
Rosemary and Garlic Brined Turkey Breast
– Sides –
Thanksgiving is all about the sides! While turkey might be the star, having good sides is just as important (if not a tad bit more)!
Bourbon Sweet Potato Casserole with Roasted Marshmallows
*Tip! This recipe can be made vegan if vegan marshmallows are used!
Shoepeg Corn and Green Bean Casserole
Homemade Cranberry Orange Sauce
Roasted Butternut Squash Risotto
Roasted Garlic and Rosemary Sweet Potato Stacks
Fall Harvest Salad with Spiced Apple Cider Bourbon Vinaigrette
– Drinks & Cocktails –
A crowd pleasing cocktail is a must-have! Though, having non-alcoholic drinks are also a great option.
*Tip! This recipe can easily be made into a mocktail.
*Tip! This recipe can be made alcoholic with a shot of bourbon or whiskey.
Looking for an after dinner drink? Try our Homemade Southern Eggnog!
– Desserts –
My personal favorite part of Thanksgiving…the dessert! From classic recipes to fun new ideas. We do have a little bit of everything listed here, so don’t feel like you need to make them all!
Homemade Pumpkin Pie with Spiced Whipped Cream
Spiced Pumpkin Roll with White Chocolate Cream Cheese Filling
Caramel Apple Layer Cake with Caramel Frosting
Pumpkin Pie Bars with Shortbread Cookie Crust
Pumpkin Spice Cake with Chai Buttercream Frosting
*Tip! This is a great cake to make if you have guests who don’t like pumpkin!
